For more than five decades, Woodland Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted partner in pet care for families throughout Yolo County and the surrounding communities. What began in 1975 in a renovated house on the edge of town has grown into one of the region’s most all-inclusive and respected veterinary hospitals. We are built on a legacy of compassion, expertise, and deep community roots.
A Legacy of Veterinary Care for the Woodland Community
From the beginning, Woodland Veterinary Hospital was designed to meet the growing needs of local pet owners. A new, purpose-built facility opened in 2000 just steps from the original clinic, and expansions in 2005 added additional medical space, a full boarding facility, and dedicated areas for training and enrichment. Today, our 11,000-square-foot campus serves as a one-stop destination for veterinary health, urgent care, and boarding.
Over the years, our leadership has evolved and our team has expanded, but one thing has remained constant: a commitment to providing exceptional, trustworthy care to every pet who walks through our doors.
Our Team Today
Our hospital is home to a team of 10+ veterinarians and nearly 70 veterinary professionals, all united by our shared mission to deliver modern, personalized care while honoring the long-standing values that made Woodland Veterinary Hospital a community staple.
We work closely with board-certified specialists in surgery, cardiology, internal medicine, and radiology to offer advanced diagnostic and treatment options right here in our facility so that pets receive expert-level care without leaving the community they know.
