At Woodland Veterinary Hospital, we understand that your pet is a family member, and we strive to provide both excellent service to you and quality care for your pet. When the need arises, there is no better place to leave your pet than with the staff at Woodland Vet. We offer a wide range of comprehensive boarding services with first-class accommodations and optional add-ons to really pamper your pet.

Our feline hotel provides a nice condo for your cat to sleep in with the option to double the condo size to provide additional personal space – either horizontally or vertically. We also rotate allowing one cat out at a time to explore the room and play in our giant cat house. We offer Royal Canin wet and dry cat food, however, you are more than welcome to bring in your own food or personal items for your cat.

Our canine hotel offers a wide range of indoor suites to accommodate different types of dogs. We have small and medium condos for smaller dogs and for those who prefer a more quiet environment. We offer runs for larger dogs, and also feature luxury suites which provide more space for our guests. Four of our luxury suites are even equipped with a web camera for clients to be able to view their animal throughout the day.

Each standard stay at our Pet Hotel includes 2 meals, 3 walks, and a treat before bedtime; however, there are extra options available to enhance your pet’s stay as well. These options include extended play-time off the leash in our play yard, group playtime with other dogs, additional walks, kong treats, and cuddle or treadmill sessions.

We also offer a package called Pampered Pet Plus. In addition to the standard three fun strolls, you will be able to pick two extra activities for your dog from the following options: an individual play session, treadmill work-out, cuddle session, kong play time, and a fluff and brush. This pampering package is great for a pet that is used to a lot of physical activity or extra attention at home.

We offer Royal Canin wet and dry dog food; however, if you prefer to feed your own food or if your dog is on a special diet, you may bring your own food at no extra charge. While your pet is staying with us we can also brush their teeth, brush their fur, give nail trims, or administer medication – just let us know when you drop off your animal. *Please note that although California law now allows for private human home use of hemp-based products such as CBD oil, veterinarians are still under federal regulation, and as such cannot legally recommend, administer, or even store these products on the premises. This includes boarding pets.*

Please note: Playtimes will be tailored to your dog’s needs. Your dog’s eligibility for group socialization will be established by our kennel team by request in a complimentary temperament evaluation. If you are interested in having your pet evaluated, let our front desk staff know so our Kennel Lead can schedule it during your pet’s stay. Playtime sessions are always conducted under the direct supervision of a staff member.

The staff and doctors at Woodland Veterinary Hospital would like to take a moment to thank you for choosing to board your pet with us. In an effort to make the check-in process easier, please contact the front desk staff to acquire the appropriate paperwork, fill out the boarding contract and species-appropriate boarding form, and bring it with you on the day of check-in. Also, if your pet was vaccinated elsewhere, you will need to bring in a current copy of your pet’s vaccine records.

Dogs must be current on Bordetella, DHPP, Influenza, and Rabies. Cats must be current on FVRCP and Rabies vaccines. We recommend pets receive these vaccines at least 2 weeks prior to arrival for full immunity.
